The client is a Central-European logistics company expanding its Budapest distribution centre. The Solymár plot sits alongside motorway M0, and the brief came with a tight construction schedule. Scope included the office wing, the cold-storage chamber, and the dispatch dock.

The full hall had to be delivered in six months — a contractual commitment on the client's side. The façade panel selection weighed not only energy performance but acoustic isolation (a neighbouring residential zone made this material).

Steel-frame structure on a two-step reinforced-concrete slab. The façade carries 200 mm mineral-wool-cored sandwich panels — 0.21 W/m²K U-value. The roof hosts 50 kWp of solar, with heat-recovery ventilation fed by the cold-storage waste heat. The office wing uses mobile partitions so the client can rearrange the layout under future expansion.

Turnkey handover at six months, inside the client's contractual deadline. The hall's annual running cost is 18% lower than the client's Budapest reference unit — chiefly thanks to the 50 kWp solar array and heat recovery. A second-phase warehouse extension is under negotiation.
