Full interior fit-out of a Budaörs restaurant — 280 m² floor, 75-cover capacity, nine-week build.
Client
Magán vendéglátó
Year
2023
Duration
9 weeks
context
The client is a Budaörs hospitality operator repositioning their bistro toward a Mediterranean-modern register. The 280 m² floor and adjoining kitchen needed a full fit-out — closure could last only nine weeks, with the reopening pegged to a corporate event.
brief
Existing load-bearing structure and mechanical risers had to stay; the closure window could not stretch. The interior concept also asked us to lift seated capacity from 64 to 75 covers without making the room feel busy.
concept
The interior concept lays out three zones: a bar-bistro, a communal dining floor, and private tables in a glass-walled side room. Travertine on the bar counter, oiled-oak floor, microcement walls. A new acoustic ceiling brought the room noise down by 4 dB. The kitchen refit uses SIP-panel cold-room elements — more efficient than conventional walk-in walls.
outcome
Reopening landed in step with the client's corporate event, at week nine. The 75-cover target held. We are now leading the full design on the client's second restaurant (XII. district).
